By accessing and using the OpenNDC website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to OpenNDC, while "you" and "your" denote the user of this site.
Credit Card Authorization
You authorize the use of passenger and/or third-party credit card information to secure bookings for flights, hotels, or car rentals. You confirm that the payment amounts shown at the time of booking are accepted by both you and your clients. It is your responsibility to perform all necessary due diligence before processing any credit card payment. All payment authorizations must be signed by the cardholder and appropriately validated. Any future disputes, chargebacks, or non-payments are your agency’s full responsibility. By using this site or our call center to make a payment, you accept all applicable written and implied terms and conditions.
Pricing
Prices displayed are based on the currency chosen via the country selector. Prices are subject to change at any time due to changes made by airlines or service providers.
No price changes are allowed once full payment has been made to OpenNDC. However, additional charges such as taxes or surcharges imposed by government or external factors will be added and must be paid before travel documents are released.
Group Bookings
Group reservations must be requested via phone or by emailing ccg@openndc.com and cannot be made online. A group consists of 10 or more passengers on the same itinerary. Each group booking is subject to the airline’s or hotel’s specific terms. Airlines may issue debit memos for improperly booked groups. All such memos and related fees are your agency’s responsibility and must be paid upon receipt.
Changes and Cancellations
Airfares booked via OpenNDC are governed by specific rules and cancellation policies. Some fares may become non-refundable once ticketed. Details are shared at the time of booking. Hotel and car rental bookings follow the policies of their respective suppliers.
Refunds for unused services are restricted by supplier policies. OpenNDC will only refund what we are able to recover from our suppliers and reserves the right to deduct a reasonable service fee. Voluntary itinerary changes may incur fare differences and administrative charges.
Travel Documentation
Verify your itinerary and e-tickets carefully. It is your responsibility to ensure your client has valid travel documents including passports and visas. Entry into countries is at the discretion of immigration officials, and OpenNDC is not responsible for denied entry.
Children traveling with one parent may have special requirements. Child fares typically apply for ages 3–11 but may vary by supplier. Infants under two may qualify for reduced fares but are not guaranteed a seat. If an infant turns two during travel, a child fare must be purchased. Infants under six weeks may require a doctor’s note.
Baggage Information
Baggage policies vary by airline. OpenNDC provides baggage allowances only for tickets booked through our platform. Travelers must confirm specific baggage rules directly with each carrier. Fees for excess baggage are the traveler’s responsibility.
Airport Check-In
Travelers should check in at least three hours before departure. Agents must inform clients about reconfirmation requirements. Most carriers allow online check-in 24 hours before flight departure. We encourage travelers to opt-in for email or mobile alerts regarding flight updates.
Travel Conditions at Destination
Please be aware that living conditions, standards of service, and accommodations at your destination may differ significantly from those in Canada.
Seat Assignment
Seat preferences will be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed. Some airlines offer pre-selection for free or at a fee, depending on the fare type. Otherwise, seats are assigned at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prohibited Booking Practices
The following reservation behaviors may result in debit memos from airlines, for which your agency is responsible:

Creating excessive, speculative, or fictitious bookings

Using cartoon or false names

Repeated cancellations to extend time limits

Training/test bookings

Cross-border fare manipulation

Sequence violation of flight coupons
All administrative fees and penalties must be paid to OpenNDC upon invoicing.
Hotel Star Ratings
Hotel star ratings are supplied by third-party providers and may not align with official grading systems. Ratings are relative to the destination’s standards and may vary across countries.
Hotel Check-In & Check-Out
Hotel check-in is generally from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is typically required by 12:00 noon, regardless of your flight schedule.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing Cancellation, Delay, and Medical Insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances. In case of illness or delay, all expenses fall to the traveler, and no refunds will be provided. Please consult with your travel agent to secure adequate coverage.
Role and Liability Limitation
OpenNDC functions as an intermediary between you and independent service providers. We are not responsible for any damages, personal injuries, losses, or inconveniences caused by third parties, transportation breakdowns, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or other events beyond our control. OpenNDC is also not liable for improper or incomplete documentation. We reserve the right to modify or cancel itineraries and refuse service to any traveler whose condition may hinder tour operations. Refunds will only be issued for recoverable amounts.
Force Majeure
OpenNDC is not responsible or liable for changes or cancellations made that relate to or arise as a result of hostilities, acts of war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics or health risks, technical problems with transport as well as flight delays due to weather or for mechanical reasons, government action, closed or congested airports or ports, supplier insolvency, governmental acts and other events beyond our control. The National Hurricane Center in Miami considers June 1st to November 30th inclusive Hurricane Season. This must be taken into consideration when you book your vacation. You agree that OpenNDC does not assume any responsibility, and is not liable, for the costs or other consequences that arise out of or result from inclement weather conditions at any time of the year.
Agent Incentives and Taxes
Any tax liabilities related to rewards, vouchers, or incentives are solely your responsibility.
Privacy Commitment
OpenNDC is committed to protecting your personal data and complies fully with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and all relevant Canadian privacy laws.
Intellectual Property
The logos, names, and branding of OpenNDC are proprietary and protected by Canadian and international IP laws. Any reproduction of our branding or that of third parties accessed through this site requires prior authorization.
